United Auto Workers collection, 1937-1975.

This collection consists of research files concerning the UAW between 1937 and 1941. It also includes an oral history tape by Charles Craypo on Dec. 30, 1975, of Alice Record, a labor activist in Jackson, Michigan, and worker in an auto supply plant. The collection also contains 15 photographs and 6 negatives of union workers and union meetings of UAW local 17, Long Beach, California. A panoramic photograph of UAW 13th Constitutional Convention in 1951 is missing.
